Ms. Gunjan Prabhakaran (Partner & Leader, Indirect Taxes, BDO India LLP) spoke on various Indirect Tax proposals made by the Hon'ble Finance Minister. Ms. Prabhakaran believes that the FM has done a fine job of trying to create a win-win situation for both - the taxpayer as well as the Revenue. She highlights some of the key misses such as a roadmap for the GST Tribunal but is hopeful that it will be addressed sooner than later.
